Status Bar

Select this to display or hide the status bar at the bottom of the screen.

Task Pane

Select this to display or hide the task pane, which displays on the left side of the screen. The task pane enables you to quickly select tasks related to the view you selected on the navigation bar.

ScreenTips

Select this to enable or disable ScreenTips, which provide brief explanations of selected items on the Administration Console. When ScreenTips are enabled, you can view them by holding the mouse pointer on an item. Only selected items have ScreenTips.

Preview Pane

Select this to display or hide the Preview pane, which displays properties for the selected item.

Show Unavailable Tasks on the Task Pane

Select this to display tasks that are not available for selection.

Configure Columns

Select this to display or hide columns. The columns you can display or hide vary depending on the view you selected on the navigation bar.

Move Splitter Bar

Select this to adjust the position of the horizontal or vertical bar that separates the panes on a screen.

Refresh

Select this to update the current window with the latest information. If you make changes to your device or media configurations and you do not see the change, click Refresh.

Refresh is also available by pressing <F5>.
