You can run diagnostics on a remote media server provided:
Backup Exec is installed on the remote server.
Backup Exec services are running.
To run Backup Exec diagnostics on a remote media server
On the Tools menu, click Backup Exec Diagnostics.
Click Select Server and select the remote media server on which you want to run the diagnostic utility.
Enter the logon credentials for this remote system.
Click Run Diagnostics.
Diagnostic information appears in a .txt file.
