Backup Exec's client protection agents
The following options
provide protection for remote Microsoft Windows servers, Novell
NetWare servers, Linux and UNIX servers, and Macintosh systems on
the network, as well as automated protection of desktop and laptop
systems.

Systems (Remote Agent) is installed as a separate, add-on component
that must be used for the backup and restore of remote Windows or

Symantec Backup Exec Remote Agent for Linux or Unix Servers
(RALUS)

Lets Windows Server network administrators perform backup and
restore operations on Linux and Unix workstations and servers that
are connected to the network. This agent must be running on these
computers before backup or restore operations can be performed.

Enables Windows Server network administrators to perform backup
and restore operations on Macintosh computers that are connected to
the network.
