Configuring a database in Exchange 2000, 2003, and 2007

Before you restore Exchange 2000, 2003, and 2007, you should configure the target database.

To configure a database

  1. Open the Exchange System Manager utility.

  2. Right-click the database that you want to overwrite.

  3. Click Properties.

  4. On the Database tab, select This database can be overwritten by a restore.
