Synopsis

Submits a job to lock the front panel of a robotic library in Backup Exec.

Submit-BELockJob -RoboticLibraryDevice [<BERoboticLibraryDevice>] [-BackupExecServer [<BEBackupExecServer>]] [-Confirm [<SwitchParameter>]] [-WhatIf [<SwitchParameter>]] [<CommonParameters>]

Description

Submits a job to lock the front panel of a robotic library in Backup Exec.

Parameters

-RoboticLibraryDevice <BERoboticLibraryDevice>

Specifies the robotic library to lock.

You can pipe a Backup Exec robotic library device object to Submit-BELockJob.

Return Value

BackupExec.Management.CLI.BEJob

Submit-BELockJob returns the job that was submitted.

Example

C:\PS> Get-BERoboticLibraryDevice "Device 0001" | Submit-BELockJob

These commands submit a job that locks the front panel of the robotic library named "Device 0001".
