Synopsis

Removes virtual disk devices from Backup Exec.

Description

Removes virtual disk devices from Backup Exec.

Parameters

-PassThru <SwitchParameter>

Passes the removed object to the pipeline. By default, this cmdlet does not generate any output.

You can pipe a Backup Exec virtual disk device object to Remove-BEVirtualDiskDevice.

Return Value

None or BackupExec.Management.CLI.BEVirtualDiskDevice

When you use the PassThru parameter, Remove-BEVirtualDiskDevice returns an object that represents the virtual disk device that was removed. Otherwise, this cmdlet does not generate any output.

Example

C:\PS> Get-BEVirtualDiskDevice "Device 0001" | Remove-BEVirtualDiskDevice

These commands remove a virtual disk device named "Device 0001".
