Supported Installation Mechanisms

When extending the Active Directory schema, you have four choices:

  1. Extend using LDIF scripts. This is the preferred mechanism.
  2. Extend using Comma-separated Value (CSV) scripts.
  3. Extend programmatically.
  4. Extend using the user interface.
